Floyd, Flips & Finds were ready for a new name: Floyd Rustic. They had been in business for a couple year after making some dyi pieces at home and realizing how much they enjoyed the process and the product. Now in their third year business is really taking off, and they were playing catch up on the branding and marketing side of things. They had a new name and need a new look. What started as a logo project quickly turned into business cards, truck magnets, rack cards, even cute little turtle tattoos of their company mascot Floyd the Turtle. We even built them a full featured website allowing customers to ‘customize their own rustic furniture’.
We not only needed a great logo, we needed great photography. And as a new company starting out with lots of different furniture options, we wanted to find something that would be representative and attractive, plus help the customer see the end result in a home without having to spend a ton of money staging studio shots. So we looked through all the photo happy clients had sent in and used some of the best ones. That’s what you call a ‘two-fer’,
Floyd the Turtle
Floyd the Turtle is a handy little turtle with a knack for building quality, affordable furniture. Tara, one of the Rustic Family, drew this illustration for the Floyd Rustic Mascot. We have had a good time popping him into designs and even had a bunch of temporary tattoos made up for folks to sport. Complimentary graphics are great.
